AGENDA:
1) Call the Meeting to Order.
2) Consider approval of minutes.
3) Consider approval of appropriations and transfers.
4) Comments from the public, limited to two (2) minutes, time may be extended at the discretion of the Commissioners.
5) Consider approval of resolution designating of Amy Brandley as the Canadian County Floodplain Manager.
6) Consider approval to change the name of Bassett Road to Moffat Road in unincorporated Canadian County, in order for that road from Banner Road east to County Line Road to have only one name, Moffat Road Northwest (west of Piedmont Road) and Moffat Road Northwest (east of Piedmont Road), being that the city of Piedmont voted to change Bassett Road to Moffat Road within its city limits on December 27, 2005.
7) Consider approval for Aerial Data Service, Inc. proposal for aerial photography digital mapping, and digital orthophotos in and around Section 16T12NR6W. This data will be used by Watershed Concepts of Austin, TX, FEMA’s partner in their Flood Map Modernization project for Canadian County, for the enhanced approximate study of Purcell Creek around the Banner area. This study will give us flood elevations in and around Section 16T12NR6W.
8) Consider approval of $500.00 fee to Meshek and Associates, Inc. for work done in the study of Purcell Creek in and around Section 16T12NR6W.
9) Consider approval for a proposal from Oklahoma Survey to survey two stream crossings along Purcell Creek: at the railroad tracks and Gregory Road, for the study of Prucell Creek around the Banner area for the Map Modernization project.
10) Consider approval of signing the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services application to receive funding for the adolescent substance abuse group home for fiscal year 2007.
11) Consider approval to let bids for (1) or more new Patch Trucks to be lease-purchase for Dist. # 1.
12) Consider approval to terminate the existing contracts between Canadian County Dist. # 1 and The Empire Co. with both in agreement Re: (2) Mack Dump Trucks, serial #’s 1M2AJ06Y1N002389 and 1M2AJ06Y55N002394 and let bids for (2) or more new Dump Trucks with trade-ins to be lease purchased for Dist. # 1.
13) Consider approval to let bids for (2) or more new Truck/Tractors to be lease purchased with trade-ins instead of purchased off state contract to replace (2) Mack Trucks, SN 1M1AJ06Y65N002540 & 1M1AJ06Y8N002541 which leases were approved for cancellation in the January 30, 2006 meeting
14) Consider approval of (4) project inventory reports for Dist. # 2.
15) Consider approval of the Monthly Depository Reports for the Children’s Justice Center for January 2006.
16) Consider approval of the Contract between The Canadian County Health Department and Tracy Tadlock for Directory Observed Therapy (DOT).
17) Consider approval of application for an emergency shelter grant from the department of commerce for Youth and Family Services, Inc., in the amount of $20, 000.00.
18) Consider approval of the January 2006 monthly report for the following:
a) County Clerk
b) Health Dept.
c) Treasurer
d) Court Clerk
19) Consider approval of Donation of Sick Leave to Deanne Cash from the following: Lewis Hawkins-60 hours, Shelly Dickerson-26.26 hours.
20) Consider approval for the Canadian County Free Fair Board’s Election February 18, 2006 to appoint a member for Dist. # 1.
21) Consider approval of Resolution for disposal of Best Micro Ferrups, inventory # NA that was junked for the Computer Dept.
22) Consider approval of Resolution for disposal of Televideo, inventory # NA that was junked for the Computer Dept.
23) Consider reports from the County Commissioners.
24) Discuss any new business.
25) Consider approval of Blanket Purchase Orders.
26) Consider approval of Claims.
27) Consider approval to Adjourn.
