Canadian County Clerk's Recording Fees

 

BASIC RECORDING FEES:  
Deed/Deed of Trust/Mortgage   $8.00 for the first page & $2.00 for each additional page.
Amendment/Modifications   $8.00 for the first page & $2.00 for each additional page.
Assignment   $8.00 for the first page & $2.00 for each additional page.
Satisfaction/Release/Reconveyance   $8.00 for the first page & $2.00 for each additional page.

Records Preservation Fee on every instrument                   
filed or recorded (Instruments exempt from a

TRANSFER/FINANCING FEES/TAXES:

Document Stamp Tax   $0.75 per $500 or fraction thereof of consideration
Mortgage Tax   $0.10 per $100 or major fraction thereof of debt
The mortgage tax rate is lower if the term of the mortgage is less than five years. Make out a separate check for the mortgage tax plus a $5.00 certification fee payable to the County Treasurer.
