ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

FY20 CHIP-SEAL PROJECTS:
Canadian County District 1 will stabilize the subgrade and put a double bituminous surface treatment on the following project(s):
Gregory Rd. from Northwest Highway to Britton Rd.




Manning Rd. from Hefner Rd. to 122nd St. is complete!  
Reformatory Rd. from 248th St. (Waterloo Rd.) to 234th St. is complete!
Joint project with OKC on Sara Rd. from 164th St. to 150th St. is complete!

Additionally, District 1 work forces have overlayed chip-seal in certain areas on 234th St. west of Hwy 81 and on 6th St. in or near the town of Okarche.




FY20 ASPHALT PROJECTS:
Canadian County District 1 will stabilize the subgrade and contract (through a competitive bid process) to put an asphalt road surface on the following project(s):
234th St. from Hwy 81 to Stroh Ave
District 1 has been awarded a rural economic grant in the amount of $55,000.00 to assist on this project.






BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Canadian County District 1 through RRY, LLC is in the process of reconstructing the bridge on 122nd St. east of Banner Rd.  
District 1 has put in a request for material reimbursement in the amount of $25,000.00 from our Circuit Engineering District.



Bridge on Waterloo Rd. just west of County Line Rd. near Piedmont, OK:
Canadian County District 1 and the Okla Dept of Transportation have contracted engineering services to reconstruct the bridge on Waterloo Rd. over the tributary to Wolf Creek in the northeast corner of the county.  The environmental studies have been completed for this project, and a programming resolution and utility relocation agreements have been filed.  District 1 is expecting the project to be let in July 2019.
