Here's what happening in 2014:
- Personal Property Renditions for Business, Agriculture and Manufactured Homes mailed in February.
- Applications for Homestead Exemption and Receipts mailed in February.
- All applications and exemptions must be submitted by March 17th, 2014 (or within 30-days if you receive a Change of Value Notice).
Canadian County is the fastest growing county in the state and the 37th fastest growing nationally. With this incredible growth come challenges. Oklahoma Statutes require property to be valued at a "market" value (or the amount for which is would likely sell in the open market). While the only function of the assessor's office is the assessment of property, I believe this process should be fair, consistent, and efficient.
